How Can I Help?

Volunteering: The ASSIST Agency utilizes volunteers on an ongoing basis as well as for special events. If you would like to volunteer and make a difference in our community please call us at 337-788-7551, ext. 138 or email us.

Donating: Our homeless shelter is in need of the following items: Bath Towels, wash cloths, dish towels, pots and pans, plates, bowls, cups, glasses, flatware, food storage containers with lids, pillows, twin size sheets, full size sheets, bed spreads or comforters, shampoo, deodorant, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, brushes and combs, socks -- anything it takes to run a home is needed.
